Comparing Mud Flaps: Husky vs WeatherTech

I bought some Husky and WeatherTech mud flaps to see which ones I liked best. Honestly, I didn't expect there to be much difference, but after installing both I definitely recommend the Husky. If anyone has any other experiences than I had, I am interested to hear it. Someone has told me I should've gotten hardware with the WTs, but I did not. Can anyone confirm?

Also, I live in an area with real winters now, and I never have before. Those of you who also live where it snows, will these help? Keep them on? Take them off? Obviously its an aluminum body, so rust isn't a concern. But will it trap more snow/road slush or will it help keep it off the body?

Below is a full install/review video if youre interested...

I had WT on my '13 and was happy with them. Researched Husky, WeatherTech and Ford for my '18. Decided to go the Ford route. Preferred how they attached plus the rears had extra brace and the fronts didn't require removing the plastic piece that covered bolts at bottom of seam. Found a place on Ebay that sold both front and rear for around $95.

Can't speak to winter protection yet, but I'll tell you in a few months.

My Weathertechs are holding up very well. I've had them for a year, and that includes gravel, as well as the worst winter we have had in a while. All is well with Weathertech.

I've had Weathertechs on our 2015 since a couple months after we got it. So they are right about 4 years old, and are holding up well. Where we live, they get packed with mud and rocks during the winter months.
