I need help identifying an electrical part.
Ok, to start I have just acquired a 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition, 5.4L 2V(16V) Triton V8
4R100 transmission, 2WD
With 142387 miles on it.
There is this part on the firewall just to the right of the starter relay. It has had both wires to it cut. I would like to know what this part is. In the picture, it is the item with the orange screw holding it to the firewall. Both wires are red with no stripe.

Answered my own question
I answered my own question as to what it is. It's a fuse holder.
Now, what was it for? Whatever it was for, the fuse is blown.
The orange screw, was actually a rusty screw.

Looks like an aftermarket fuse added by a previous owner. Were the wires connected to anything? One end would've gone to the hot side of the battery. The other end, who knows ....
