My truck keeps blowing fuse 28 in the inside fuse box. This fuse belongs to the ignition relay, and only blows when I go to start the truck. It is intermittent
Sorry it is a 2010 F250 super duty 6.4L 4×4
No meter checks but visual on all the wires I could see nothing stands out.
Thought it was the tow/hual wire as it had some white marks on the outer protective shell but I disconnected it and it still blew the fuse.
How hard is to look at the diagram in the owner's manual and specifically identify the fuse that blows instead of going back and forth and never managing to supply a clear and concise answer?
I am giving a clear answer. If you look at the picture I posted and read the description I am saying it is fuse 28 ignition switch feed.
In the passenger fuse compartment,
Let me ask just what is your problem? Is it that the truck does not run or start or is it that the fuse for the radio keeps blowing? When the title of your post is blown fuse and your name stuck in Germany I think your vehicle will not start. Fuse 28 is fed from fuse 27 but is only supposed to be connected to the radio.
It is 27 in the picture I posted and if you read the description to the right of 27 it list the fuaes that go to that system in the ignition switch feed. Only number 28/out of all those fuses in the column keeps blowing. The truck will not start as soon as I turn the key the fuse blows.
So all fuses within the ignition feed switch
28,42,43,44,45 all in the passenger side fuse box. Out of those fuses listed only 28 blows
I will post a picture of the fuse box and the bix covermaybeitwill make it a little clearer.
