These snapshots are from the 2019 Superduty Brochure. Nothing is mentioned about auto dimming side mirrors.
If you go to fords website and build a truck when you get to the power fold option you will see where I listed above that it states the mirrors are auto-dimming.
Update from the dealer. They too found where the build site states the power fold mirrors are auto-dimming however they have investigated it and indeed the power fold mirrors are NOT auto-dimming. Only the interior mirror auto-dims.
It it looks like our solution is to tint the side driver and passenger window to 50% tint

You are correct. On the website it says the drivers side mirror is auto dimming. My dad has an 18 F150 Lariat and he confirmed that his drivers side is auto dimming. I’m curious to see if mine is. When I get my truck back tomorrow, I’m going to check but I’m sure it’s not. Lol
After a search on another forum, it looks like ford stopped the auto dimming drivers mirror for the 2018+. There’s an f150 forum that had a few owners panties in a bunch because the build site said they were auto dimming and they weren’t. The truck is wired for it but the mirror does not have the capability. I guess my dad was wrong about his. (Can’t really take his word, he’s getting up there in age lol)
Well shoot, that's another feature they ditched while raising the price of these trucks. No CD player, no folding rear seat headrests, no ambient lighting color options, no auto dimming side mirror, all while increasing the purchase prices. I'm sure there are more features that were dropped that I'm not aware of.
Stumbled across this thread as I was curious if my truck (2019 Lariat( did in fact NOT have auto-dimming mirrors. My 2016 F150 Lariat was fantastic for dimming headlights, but this morning I had a car behind me blinding me thru the mirror and thought that was strange...
So indeed:
No auto-dimming mirrors
No ambient lighting
No Console shift
No Blis with Ultimate Package
No LED Headlights with Ult Package
Now I am wondering what the heck did I even get? Feels like an XLT with leather seats at this point
