New here and have my first f250 super duty that has a few issues. Previous owner couldn’t get the blower to work. He put and brand new blower and resistor in. I found the relay in the box under the hood blown and corroded. Put in a new relay and now the blower works but never turns off. Control panels works and speeds work but never completely off. Any help is appreciated.
Key is off and control panel is in off position and it still spins like it’s on speed one. Only way to turn it off is put the fuse or relay or unplug at the blower under the hood.
I learned years ago not to use anyone but OEM electronics in my vehicles. Changed a fuel pump relay in my old F-350, 2 days later I had gone to help a friend do some work to come back out and find gas dripping out of the intake, pumped a half a tank of gas into the crankcase. Had to replace the relay and the pressure regulator.
