Try this again. 2007 F350 , 6.0, 5r110
recently my truck started shifting hard and shifting erratically. Turning to go home the truck would start from stop sign then it seemed the brakes were fully applied ( of course this was not the case) I applied a lot of power to get it off the street. $320 towing bill it was dropped at home. One code was displayed on my sct tuner but it was not stored. I rigged up my pressure gauge and during the pressure checks the pressures were basically appropriate but the pressure levels did spike or raise n lower randomly. I’ll check grounds tomorrow but any other advice? I’ll try to post a few videos. If I cannot post them hopefully someone can allow me to send them so I can fix this issue by myself . I just dumped $3500 in injectors so obviously with your help I can get this whooped. I don’t recall the code that was displayed. Thank you
It could be a torque converter failure, bad clutch, bad clutch diode, sticking solenoids, any number of things. Is this four wheel drive? Does it move in reverse? Could it be the rear differential locked up? Again, check further and eliminate the other components of drivetrain before totally blaming transmission.
There was a code on my sct tuner but it wasn’t stored so I have no idea. Do you know if it’s not stored on my tuner could it still be stored on the truck ? Thank you
Get a usb OBDII reader and a torque ap for reading codes. You could also download FORSCAN and read the codes and data. Then you can get back to us with a little more information that we may be able to help you with.
Ok thx. Ya I did a bit of research and found on amazon the obd Bluetooth scan plus app for phone. I’ll get it ordered tomorrow then let ya know what codes I find. Thank you
