I have been rummaging through my garage, and found a set of 428scj pistons, one set of 390 rods, one 427 crankshaft, rocker arms, timing sets, complete FE gasket sets, Edelbrock intake, valve covers, cherry 390 block, 9 inch differentials, etc. If I built one more and "last" FE, it probably be a stroker with a mild hydraulic roller cam, with a streetable compression ratio. Something to put into a 1970-1975 F100 as a fun weekend pickup. I have Holley 600 cfm carbs, but probably would go with fuel injection, along with a overdrive to see if it surpass the normal 12 mpg range.
Why am I doing this?, even at my old age, I am running out of patience with Kalifornia politics, and thinking of buying a house in Idaho. Soooo,,,, I will probably need to sell or give away lots of parts. I have sold and given away lots of FE parts, but I keep finding more. I have seven shops, and as you older guys know, we collect lots of "stuff" in over 60 years. I even sold our Corvette, knowing that it would not be a good fit in Idaho snow. Anyone in Northern Kalifornia that needs a water filter for a 2006 PSD? I have a bad habit of keeping new spare parts even after I sell the vehicle. Today I tossed a new ignition set for a 2007 Focus, I could not find anyone to give it to. I will be looking for a enclosed car trailer to move our Falcon to Idaho, when we find a house we like. It has been so hot here, that we have not had the opportunity to try and get our Falcon into the 10's. I don't do well in heat over 100 degrees.
I don't have the energy or ambition to send any of these parts anywhere. I hope to have someone close to Redding Kalifornia get them.
Oh well,,,, just thought I would vent my ideas.
I will check with you before we move. Right now, I don't want to send anything. We have not found the property we want in Idaho, so it might be awhile.
We are looking into purchasing land and then building. That is always stressful, especially for senior citizens.
Kentucky is a great State to live in, only we have trouble with humidity.

Yea we have plenty of that and I have trouble with it to, but I was born on this farm and have to much invested in it now to pick up and move.
A cab tractor is my friend!
I understand.
We had a nice 100 acre property in Oregon, but the cold weather was not good for my wife's health. When it got to -20 degrees, we sold the property.
Where we are looking in Idaho, it is not as cold, and it is dry, except there are many irrigation canals in the area, which make the humidity a little higher than Redding Kalifornia, but not like the Midwest and East.
We have friends who live in Maryland, and humidity is high, but like you say, they are used to it and it is home to them.
We have been through Kentucky on our way around the U.S.A. and we thought it was very beautiful and green. Humidity was around 80% so we were not used to that.
Humidity is very low in Redding.
