Vacuum lines!

Hello, I’ve got a 1984 f-150 and I’ve had a hard
time understanding the vacuum lines. I know this has all been covered many times before. I’ve tried to figure it out but I don’t know where this line coming off the carb terminates. The truck has a rough idle/ bucks pretty hard as you get going into 3rd gear. Maybe fuel pump as well? Any help is greatly appreciated, I love this old rust bucket!

Take a picture of the sticker on your radiator support and then post it up. They have so many versions, you need that diagram on the support to figure it out. And there are some people on here that are pretty good at that stuff if you can get them the diagram.

Definitely post a picture of your emissions sticker located on top of your radiator support. If you don't have it we can help youind the one for your application.

Also, remove the air cleaner and take a picture of the top down on the engine and one of the other end of the hose those plug into.

If that vacuum line is hooked to anything it is a leak that will cause havoc with your drive ability. Until you figure out where the vacuum line goes your best bet is to remove it and use a vacuum nipple on the port it goes to (or put a golf tee/bolt in the vacuum line).

Awesome truck BTW!
