Seeping differential?

Seeping differential?
I noticed this wet looking section on my rear differential yesterday. Does this look like seeping differential fluid? I know those covers are only using RTV for the seal.

Yup. Had mine fixed under warranty.

I need to look and see if it is coming from around the pinion or not. Was yours s pinion seal leak, it was it the rear cover?

Rear cover. Haven't had the issue since.

Mine appears to be the pinion seal. It looks like it comes from that area.

There has been a problem with pinion seal leaking, There is a procedure the tech has to do to change it from Ford
