Aftermarket cab lights. PLEASE HELP!
I just installed a set of Harbor Freight cab lights today on my 2012 F-250. They're the ones that have each light spliced into a common power wire, which taps into the factory parking lights. Each light is also grounded the the roof of the truck by its mounting screws. After getting the lights all wired up, I turned on the headlights and none of them came on. I used a multimeter to check the voltage between the positive and ground on one of the lights and it reads ~11 V. None of the bulbs are burnt out and the lights are brand new. Anyone have similar issues with these type of lights or any suggestions for what to troubleshoot? I'm lost. Thanks in advance!

I took one off and found it turned on when I ran a power and ground wire directly to the battery. Apparently the yellow and green wire I had been trying to tap into behind the headlight switch had enough voltage but not enough amps. Based on some other posts, I ran the power wire down to fuse #40 (10 amps) instead and all the lights immediately came on.Thanks for the input Marksman!
