Check engine light....
Simple question.....I got kicked out of Big Trucks....jeez.
Check engine light is on. How do I jump EEC plug? Or is this an OBD style test port? I can't find anything on the 1996 f350 gas trucks on line! Can some one point me in the right direction or?

California emission 1996/97 F250HD/F350 with gas engine will most likely be OBD-II. Federal emission F250HD/F350 will be OBD-I. The latter will have the diagnostic port under the hood near the driver side hood hinge. OBD-II trucks will have the port under the center of the dash.

Thanks people! After all this.....I really just wanted to know how to jump the plug in order to show the code....Guess I should have just asked! Also a list of code numbers would be useful. Thanks again!!
