There's are the mounts I got for the 10 Fire tablets. They screw on to the posts vs clamp. Side view how far they stick out Both installed and pwr wire connected. Got the 90° connections vs regular to increase life and make it smaller. I have 3 boys.... If I can find a way for them not to break things ...I will. Side profile Pwr cord ran down back of seat under headrest post. And under the center console Pwr cord running to center console. Checked seat movent. We're good. Pulled rear cupholders. I wanted a keyed power source so the tablets werent drawing power while truck was off. The top 12v socket was the ticket. I'll be using a dual USB charger that's wired so all I have left is wiring it up and plugging the tablet USBs in.
Looks very clean! Gone are the days of rear DVD flip down screens from ceiling. Not sure if that is even an option on newer SUVs? Do you have them stream off your mobile phone or truck Wifi? How are you getting sound out from them? Headphones? Wireless Bluetooth headsets would be nice.
Thanks! Yea I have no idea if there available anymore....I'm sure. But this was a way cheaper way and alot easier install. Sound comes out the bottom of the tablets currently. But the kids will end up using wired headsets. Alot easier and cheaper to replace. ~$200 all in! Not to bad. Amazon prime day!

Some Bluetooth head sets may keep the kids from plugging/unplugging corded headsets. The least you keep the kids from handling the tablets the longer they’ll last lol!! Ask me how I know..

I work in technology support for a school district with approximately 20,000 desktop and mobile devices in service. I wholeheartedly agree with your statement.
Next, buy one of these, it is a portable wifi hub, I rip (using DVD9FAB) all of their DVD's and put them on a 256 GB micro SD card and they can watch all of their movies. I have two girls and both have their own Bluetooth headset. I also connect two BT joystick controllers for games. Also if you want you can take the RAVPower into a hotel room and connect it to their ethernet and you don't have to reconfigure the devices. I absolutely love this thing.
