Window wiper (weatherstripping)
I went to put new window wipers on my doors, and they dont seem to fit tight as can be seen on both pics, you can even see part of a clip on one door. The snap clips dont seem to pull tight into the door.
Only thing I can think is trying to bend the tabs from inside the door to tighten it, but dont think you're supposed to do that, are you? The old ones didnt seem to be.
Or is this just another case of crappy reproductions available now? Cant remember where I got these or what manufacturer, picked them up earlier this year with my door weatherstripping.
And they are all pushed past the "click" into the hole.

Any tips for bending the tabs? I tried doing it by hand, with a flat head screw driver, and needle nose pliers last night with no luck. I know the tabs arent that strong, but it's just kinda tough working around in that tight space, plus I'm having to go solely off feel and cant see what I'm doing.
