Blower motor quit so changed out with an aftermarket unit. Blower would run only 2 speeds then blower quit after a couple of weeks. Changed out with another aftermarket blower and the same thing happened.
I want to wire around the resistor pack directly to the motor and use a rheostat but really don't know how.
Any suggestions?
Agreed---the present replace without diagnosing isn't working so well. Working with a schematic is best as it will show what other connections and switches are part of the blower motor circuit.
There are two wiring harness connectors I've changed because they failed; the resistor network connector on the blower motor housing and the speed control switch located inside the cabin behind the Function & Temperature pod. Could be that switch and/or the resistor as Wireless suggests.
