Thanks Mark, I appreciate your reply.

I'll move the sensor when I get the chance.

However, I'm still concerned about the transmission leaking after a long city drive. Even with my temperature gauge being in the wrong spot, when it reads "hot" at around 200+, the transmission will begin to leak.

I've noticed the leak around the pan gasket usually, so I probably just need to tighten it up a little bit.

Once, I saw it leaking from the cover plate under the bell housing. Whether that is the front seal or the top vent leaking down, I'm not sure. I was relating this to the fluid level, because maybe I've had it too full, or not full enough.

I have a few things to check.

it should not leak at 200

if level too high, it has to go some where when it gets warmed up

find the leak before you tighten things
