I drive a couple different service trucks, usually a '13 F250 of E250. Both have the V-8 gas engine. I usually sit on location with the engine idling unless I need to drive to the other side. Usually this isn't an issue but in the summer in Texas it gets hot and you have to run the A/C. This is ok until it gets really hot and it helps to cool it off it you raise the RPM's to about 1000-1200 RPM.
I'm wondering if there is someway to have some device to plug into the OBD port to do this instead of having to hold the throttle pedal down. I know that on the diesel trucks you can install and AIC, but haven't been able to find something for the gas engines.
