Hello, I did some searching at it seems my steering wheel noise isn't as bad as most. My truck has 24k on it and I dont want the sound to get worse or turn into a mechanical issue. Give a listen and tell me if in being too ****.
Thanks
I have the same exact noise on my 2018 F-350 with adaptive steering. I have 22k on it and the noise just started. What did they say it was even thought they did not correct the problem?

They replaced the steering column lower seal.
Obviously they weren't hearing the same noise I was.
I just started noticing mine making this same sound. I'm wondering if this is just an annoyance or could turn into a problem. I'm at 96000.
That is my concern. Whatever is rubbing will eventually wear down but what will be the end result? Hopefully someone that has had the sound for a while will chime in.
Just to update anyone who hears the same noise. The service manager that should have looked at it the first time finally took a look and listen. I told him to try to lube where he hears the noise. to the ear the sound is coming from right behind the steering wheel. When he brought out the stethoscope the sound was louder much further down the column. He sprayed some lube towards the end of the column and the sound was still there at first but about a day or 2 later it was gone and I have not heard it in a week.

Do you know where he sprayed lube? Toward the end of the column inside the truck? Or on the shaft in the engine bay? Did the noise ever come back?
