When I first start the truck and turn the steering wheel to the extreme left or right, I get a "slurping" noise. Like a kid drinking the last of a fountain drink through a straw.
I assume it's some hydraulic line or something. Anyone else get such a noise?
My truck does not comes with adaptive steering
And has that noise its only on full lock to either side
Took it to the dealer when like 100 miles on it
Guy tested 3 brand new trucks and did the same thing..
It is really annoying

Yup, I hear the same thing. I know it is bad to keep a steering wheel locked all the way over, so just back off and it goes away. I wonder if that canister is there if you DO NOT have adaptive steering. Otherwise, I am also curious about what is creating the sound; it is not the steering box/pump.
The noise y'all are hearing at full lock is completely normal almost every vehicle/piece of equipment does this. Mine however, has a constant whining noise though that is quite annoying. Posted a thread about it a while back.
well I can tell you this that the noise in my truck when it makes the noise when turning you can feel that canister and you can feel it coming from there.
