I've had a shop for about 15 years now. When I purchased it the guy left all of his stuff in it and didn't want it. One of the items is what I was told was an old model T or A ford motor.

I've found some serial numbers on it. It starts with a star A456I860 end with a star. Does anyone have any knowledge of what it might be to?

 

From the info I found, it's a model A engine and was built at the Rouge plant around April 1931.

I appreciate it. I wasn’t sure. Hopefully I can find someone who needs a model A engine so it doesn’t sit for another 15 years in the corner.
