I might have the opportunity to trade my 2001 7.3 Auto trans for a 97 7.3 with a swapped 5 spd with 173k miles.. The 97 has never been tuned and it’s the second owner that bought i from a family friend who purchased it in 97. The interior and exterior is in great condition. My 2003 is in good condition no problems at all. I have a couple extra goodies on my truck and it has 195k miles on it.. would this be a considerable trade and worth it?? Also if I wanted to trade it for something later on, would it be hard to trade up??
Cons: no straight axle if it's an f250, harder to pull turbo, harder to do up pipes, possibly have a failing tank selector valve, no innercooler, and has a cat.
