We were in Iceland last November and I was looking forward to seeing those giant EXs that used to prowl the glaciers there. Unfortunately most of them that used to belong to the larger tour agencies have been retired to private owners who have them on private farms and such, still saw several though. We rode in a Chevy rig that was a C5500 grafted to an extended (with an extension) van body sitting on a military chassis, it was huge and was rolling on 54"s, lots of fun wheeling and cruising around up on the ice.

That’s what I thought too, but its a ridiculously rough ride compared to the vans. But id take either one.
