Door speakers while Jimmi Jamming?

Door speakers while Jimmi Jamming?
I know this has been beat to death ad nauseum, but the more i search and read, the more i confuse myself.
2017 Platinum with the Sony system.
The truck was broken into...access was gained by twisting the driver door lock cylinder with a pair of channel lock pliers. As such, I have to replace the driver's door handle and I am installing Jimmi Jammers and eliminating the lock cylinder.
So, while I am in there, would it be worth replacing the stock door door speakers with a 6x9 2 way component system? Would it be best to just plug and play the speakers while using the OEM resistor for the tweeters? I was thinking of going this route:

These have been recommended several times - more expensive than most but most the sound comes from these speakers so its a good investment:

Would you say that it is
a) is worth
b) plausible without installing the aftermarket crossover

I have not changed mine. This is based off of recommendations I have seen here and that kit comes with tweeters.
