I did some looking online and on the forum, but couldn't find much. Has anyone seen this issue come up? I didn't hit anything and they seem to be getting continually worse. It's a pretty expensive option to have them looking like this after 2 years!
If you do replace the outer plastic lens, I suggest then covering them with 3M clear film. I did mine when new and the lights still look brand new after 2 years...

I really wish I had XPEL on them like I have on the painted surfaces, you're right. Can you buy just the outer lense for these?
Are you past the bumper to bumper warranty? If not, Ford might warranty it. There's been quite a few cases of this problem here.
Unfortunately, I'm well beyond the 36k mark. My sister's other half is a Ford parts person, so he's looking into options. I wish they sold a new lens, I really like how well these work otherwise!

It's really hard to tell how deep those cracks are from all the photos I've seen. Are they quite deep? It looks like it is just a failure of the clear coat applied over the plastic lens. If that's the case it could be wet sanded carefully to the plastic lens, re clear coated with a good quality 2K (2 component) clear coat and 3m ppf (from amazon or xpel from a professional) over top of it.
I could be totally wrong on this though but it looks exactly like what happens to 2k clear coat when prep wasn't done correctly or 2k was sprayed over a 1k paint. The failure of the 2k clear coat usually takes a year or two before cracking and then it starts peeling/flaking off sometime afterwards.
It appears this goes all the way through the plastic. I did manage to find another post last night with a couple of pictures that were just like mine. It starts in the inside corners of the "c" shape and spreads from there. Almost looks like stress cracks.
My 2017 did the exact same thing. You’re looking at roughly 1k per side to replace. Mine occurred around the 60K mile mark. No impact or damage before the cracking started.
if anyone finds a source for JUST the lens PLEASE post it in here. One of my halogen lens also has stress cracks (from my own doing when i took it apart for the retrofit) they aren't nearly as bad as those but it'd be nice to replace. you can get a pair of halogen assemblies from 1aauto for 370$. Could cook them in the oven and separate them and put them on your LED headlight.
I would ASSUME the lenses are exactly the same between LED and Halogen. https://www.1aauto.com/2017-ford-hal...QaAvnSEALw_wcB

I've got a set of stock halogen housings that I just took off of a 19' F-450. They have 40 miles on them.
