Have a 2019 f250 stx...have a few things that I want to change...want to upgrade to katzkin leather seats, add a console, auto climate control, instrument cluster...been reading up on all of these and have a few questions...I was thinking that the a.c. change would be the easiest...read that most features will work other than heated seats for some people...want to make sure the unit off a f150 will work...another thing is the forscan stuff lol...do I need to buy one or will the dealer be able to program these changes?...seen that the console swap had issues with not all the plugs working...has anyone solved the problems with that?...the cluster change seems to be really simple...do I just need to program a few options with that to unlock all features?...I have read and searched the internet for hours on these changes and just curious before I start...where would you recommend starting out of these?
The auto climate control isn't worth it, you don't gain anything but a temperature set point. There is lots of missing components to make the system work like a higher trim truck. For the cluster contact Livinitup and get the whole thing from him. He will even get the odometer reading corrected.
Still not worth it. There's a lot of parts missing in your truck to get it working.
What parts are missing other than the different *****?...I know that the dual climate won't work unless u buy many parts...I just want the ability to set it to 70 and not have to worry about adjusting

There's sensors in the airducts for temperature, so the system needs to know what the temp is if you want to set it to something. If you don't want the dual climate then you don't need the valves in the ducts. I would check out the F150 forums and see if they've figured out the FORscan changes you'd need as well. I dont think its here in the SD Forscan google sheet.

10-4 thanks...that's kinda a bummer...talked to my local upholstery shop and they quoted me 1100 on the seats so that's a little cheaper than I thought it would be...I'm unable to contact livnitup because I'm new...so anyone know how to reach him?
Certainly makes hooking up a trailer much easier!!!!!
I need to do this still. I just have some heavy D-rings on there right now. Aren't there some fancy shackles folks were installing? They looked purdier. Anybody remember what they were called?

The ones in the picture are screw pin anchor shackles or "SPAS" for short.. some people have been using a hammer lock shackles as well..
Personally I have a set of stainless steel SPAS that live in my tool box and only put them in when I need them, rather than having them rattle around back there and run the risk of the pin coming loose and losing it. Besides I tow more 5th wheel, or goose-neck or hitch pin for it to be much of a hassle
