Isn’t that a nice smile on his face while he signs that bill.

Somehow, the word "glee" comes to mind.

Getting back to the quakes.
I know you guys are familiar with the area so talking about it to y’all makes sense to me.
Its interesting to me that there is recent (geologically speaking) volcanic activity up in the Little Lake area which is at the northern end of the active faults.
There is a fairly recent cinder cone and of coarse the lava fields up there.
Kinda gets me to speculating, which of coarse is useless, but none the less interesting.
Could be entering a new era up there. Or of coarse geologically speaking (time wise) progressing down an already started path.

Too much? Or just right if well negotiated? Who needs a rust bucket in 2035?

I’ve been watching Scott and his bus wrenching for a while, he’s laid back, encyclopedic knowledge of those old machines and not worried about appearance. I assumed ‘burning man’ was all music, but it’s soo much more...

Given the vast amount of weirdness, and given where I live, I find it incredible that I know absolutely no one who participates in Burning Man.

How does one get a behemoth fire-breathing dragon to Northern Nevada, anyway?

Where do you work on and store the greater part of a B-747 fuselage for the rest of the year?

Wouldn't it be nice to have the propane concession?

when i was living back in my old town (mission Hills) i was close to the freeways, always could tell who was coming back from burning man... the vehicles were COVERED! in dust

not to derail from topic here....so life's adventure for me that started last September is taking a detour..... and im moving to Ft, Collins. planning to head out on the 16th of this month and ill have in tow a 20' car trailer with a 49 chevy truck onboard. told my new job i will start on the 1st so i got a couple weeks to play with but also need to get residency established out there ( i pray the state and county offices are not as much of a hassle as they are out here.) so i am looking for suggestions on routes to take and stuff to stop and see as im trying to keep from cannon balling out there in two days drive.

when i helped my buddy drive one of the 2 26' penske box trucks with car haulers out there to Ft, Collins in mid july we took interstate 15 to the 70.....was a cool, interesting and crappy drive. the roads and scenery was cool but the trucks were interesting and crappy... but we got there safe and didn't smoke the brakes too bad coming into Denver, im not sure if i will rent their equipment again.

since the weather is good so far (keeping an eye on weather reports) thinking of taking I15 up to I80 then to I25 down into Ft, Collins. not opposed to I15-I40-I25 route though the southwest but was think on maybe saving that for winter time. i know some of you guys travel alot on here and i am hoping in near future with the new opportunities i will have more time and money to travel the U.S. roads. but until i know the cool spots! suggestions?

Justin, if you’ve not been to Death Valley, it’s a worthwhile detour for a couple days to see the many sites there.

I took Hwy 50 across NV, not fast, but scenic if you like vast, open desert. Ely, NV was a treat, has a KOA if you go the camping route.

If you stick to I80, https://maps.roadtrippers.com/trips/14599610

Pop, I’m guessing some semi’s are needed to get all that stuff on the playa for BM. I noted some U-hauls in the video, which might be a good idea. Definitely some $ spent out there, might be the ‘vacation trip of the year’ for those hard core MadMaxers

Victor Gonzalez, a former pastor who allegedly directed much of the conspiracy, denied he'd done anything wrong last year when the FBI raided the group homes and the main church office in El Centro, California, a small city in the arid Colorado Desert, just north of the Mexican border

"I don't think I did anything bad," he told the Imperial Valley Press. "Whatever the accusations are, we didn't do any of that."

I never thought of imprisoning people while I was there, although we turned a few shoplifters over to the PD. I really caught some crap when a young mother with two small kids went out in cuffs. Hey, I didn't tell her to steal those sunglasses.....

But I digress and have failed to defend myself against the charge of "...almost normal...".

Upon reflection: Thanks!
