Bedrug Reinstall

I’m going to reinstall a bedrug in my F350. The reinstall kit is $40 and shipping from factory. Personally I don’t care for the white labeled Velcro pieces and am leaning towards a roll of 3M Velcro sticky tape (red tape backing). Price is about the same. Anyone done a reinstall and have constructive comments ... much appreciated.

I used Velcro 1in Black Industrial Strength Extreme Tape I bought from Home Depot, prepped both surfaces with rubbing alcohol and it works fine. You will use more than you think, buy extra...I think I used about 30 feet. The tailgate uses a lot but I have had no issues.

Didn't use any velcro on my BedRug and don't see a need to unless one is filling the bed up with gravel or something.

Doesn’t really matter on mine because I have a bed cover. I did have to reinstall the tailgate portion after my tailgate was stolen on a trip to Dallas. Any quality double sided velcro tape will work.
