July Chat Thread

Welcome to July! Independence day is Thursday!
Saturday we went and bought a new patio set for around the pool, our old set was worn out. Yesterday I pressure washed the sidewalk and about half the house. Little man had on a life vest and swimy arm things on and he swam around the pool for hours by himself. He was so tired when we came in, we gave him a bath and he was asleep within 15 minutes. The pipe for the driveway never showed up so the install has been delayed until it arrives.

I am sure yall where out there with him. Things can go bad in a heartbeat. Did the guy explain why no pipe? The 250 should be back on the toad by end of summer. Found a parts truck an 85 350 cab chassis for 300.

Little man is not allowed around the pool, we have locked gates to keep him far away from it without me or his mother. I had my eye on him the whole time he was in the water, plus his cousins were swimming with him.
I was told the pipe delivery was a miss communication, it is suppose to be delivered sometime today. We will see.
The grass seed I planted about 2 weeks ago is finally starting to sprout, the lawn will look a ton better without the bare spots and I am sure my water bill we be outrageous this month.
I know you will be glad to have the truck back on the road again.

I figured yall would be super safe around the pool. Maybe you get the pipe today then you can put in Thursday. Yes I will be plus one more step to cleaning up around here. Lexie surprised me yesterday after helping to try and find my impact. She told me she realizes how much work I have put in the shed rehab, but it still leaking and you have a lot more to do. Then she says I think you just need to go buy one. Same person that was/is opposed to me getting the parts truck. We discussed it told her we could afford another payment right now. It would make my life easier. I also mentioned with zero help it takes me a while.

I ordered a new topper cover for the slide out on the motorhome today, once I get that and the washer fixed I should be just about set for our trip.

We get a lot of run off from the road and other properties around us. It all comes together right before my property. I stopped and looked at the pipe, man that thing is almost 2 inches thick. My wife had me worried it was thin and flimsy.

Finally got the water line anti-freeze purged from the main water lines in the motorhome last night. I added my 2 bottles of bleach and half filled the water tank so I can satirize the system. I freaked out because the water pump was on but it wasn't building water pressure but then I remembered I had a bypass valve open. I still need to purge the ice maker water line so I don't have pink ice cubes!
