Happy 4th everyone. Been real busy around the house and with the wife's storage auction business. Starting to do some body work on the F-350, but damn it's hot down on the coast.

I had to come inside for a while yesterday because I was burning up. I did manage to service the batteries on the motorhome and a few other small things before the heat kicked in. We BBQ'd, swam and did our own firework display. Little man was terrified of the fireworks. He was cool with the small ones but once we got to the big boom ones he freaked out and ran inside and refused to come watch.

Ran down the road to my buddies house after work and picked up the backhoe for tomorrow. My other buddy that I worked with at Yancey wants to start early, only I have no idea what he thinks early is. It will be nice to finally not have to worry about that dang thing caving in anymore. Going to be a long hot day but I'm ready to get it done.

I paid off the Lightning last night!! I was able to pay it off 6 months ahead of schedule! I now have my sights set on two more bills paid off by the end of the year.
Little man picked our first tomato off the bush last night, he was so proud! His pumpkin plants are growing really quick.
Going to be a busy and hot day but I am ready to get this pipe installed.

Yall got deep hole to dig, hope you do not hit rock. On the back fill dirt only. Each bill you pay off os one step closer to full time retirement. Gad little man getting values.
If my neighbor is free should get the parts truck out to his place. I may not even take it off the trailer to pull the tranny. I am debating pulling the rear springs they are 12 leaf rate at 4500 each side. I think mine are rated at 2700.

The new drainage pipe is finally installed, a huge relief. We also dug a drainage ditch to help keep water off the driveway.
Emptied out the luggage compartments in belly of the motorhome and cleaned them this morning. I pulled out the washer/drier and the good news is I may not need any parts to fix it since it looks like some wires got caught in the water pump fan. Going to try and rig it up to some water lines and run it before I put it back in the cabinet.

I rigged up some water lines to the washer and let it go thru a cycle and everything is good. I taped the wires up and then zip tied them away from the pump fan so it won't happen again. I had to order a new vent hose for 12 bucks off Amazon since I broke the old one pulling it out. The old vent hose was plugged full of lint so I guess it was a blessing in disguise. They no longer make the pump which I thought it was and a new machine is over $1,100 dollars. Dodged a bullet on that one.

Got lucky there Chief. I've been thinking about buying a motor home, just not ready to spend the $$$ yet. Want to finish the F-350 first. We went to see our son Riley & daughter-in-law Jackie today and got some great news, we're going to be grandparents come February, That will make 17 grand kids. The wife is very happy I just know she's breaking the bank come Christmas HA-HA.

I agree about GGK. The oldest just got his license. Not sure if his has a girlfriend. Right now it soccer, cross country and grades.

I got an 85 350 4 speed T18. 300.00 for cab and chassis.
