A motorhome can be pricey, I got mine for half off regular retail because they knew it needed work. I have been very pleased with it and have a ton of fun just driving it. Really looking forward to our Disney camping trip in October.

I booked a Carnival cruise last night for September of next year. I offered to take the wife on a 7 day but she said she was good with a 4 day. We really enjoyed our last cruise and the wife really wanted to go on another one, she said no Disney next year. This one is on the Carnival Liberty out of Orlando instead of Jacksonville. A trip to the beach and a cruise next year, I can handle that.

Taking the motorhome to work next Friday if we are slow to install a new AC condenser fan to get the dash AC working again. Going to also install the new slide cover too.

Yay !!!
It's Friday!!
The daughter set a date to get married for October 5th. She is already driving us nutty over buying a dress. She found a website that says the bride's usually family pays for: I said we are going to help out but we don't have an open checking account to pay for everything.

I fixed everything on the new to me mower and bringing it back home this afternoon. It had a leaking hyd line and the shocks for the steering were worn out. It rides and drives like new again.

Stay away from Davids. There 99.00 is a a gimmick. most are in the 1000s. If she will have her check the resale ,thrift shops. We found our daughters at JC Penny outllet . She is right old school momma and daddy paid. Wedding can be a huge rip off. Start out with the ring at 5 or 6 k they start out in debt. The weding itself could be over 10k., if she turns in to a bridezilla. We did our daughters on the cheap , his church. made the arch out of one of the christmas arches, my stepdad did music. Some # of people a friend did the cake. Was not a sit down dinner and dancing for the reception. Informal cake and punch in church reception.

The guy that going to build the house . Has a tree house log cabin on a private lake.

We are not going super cheap but not wide open either. I am not worried she will be a bridezilla, she is more mature than that. I gave her a max price of 500 for the dress, but I know she will want 7 or 8. The wife, her and grandma will probibly go dress shopping this weekend. They already know to stay away from Michael's. Someone on his side of the family is doing the catering and the cake. My daughter does not have a ton of friends, most of our family does not live close. I'm not sure how many he is planing on coming on his side.

Sounds like she is being level headed. He is responsible for the rehearsal dinner if they have one. so you going to do Tux or try to fit in in your dress uniform

I don't know if Tux or uniform, we have not discussed it.
Finished the last of the repairs to the Zero turn yesterday at work and brought it home. I replaced a leaking hyd line, the 2 steering shocks and we did some adjustments. The new shocks made controlling it so much easier. I mowed the heck out of grass yesterday evening and would have had everything mowed but it started to rain.

Plans today are to get the washer installed in the motorhome. Also I am doing a thermostat upgrade in the master bedroom. Still waiting on the slide topper cover to come in. We take might her out for a drive, fill the fuel tank and get the LP tank filled up too.

The battery died in the Hummer so I picked up a new one yesterday, I will get that changed out this morning.

You may want to try the uniform on, it may have shrank hanging in the closet. I know mine has would not even attempt it. You going to give them a cruise for wedding present?

I got out to the land a couple of days this week . Started getting the area around the creek back in shape from where we did that clearing back in Feb. Got a bunch of log to drag up the hill. Still waiting to get the parts truck home. My neighbor is going to pull it home for me, he had a uncle that died this week they had been expecting it for 2 weeks. I hate depending on other people nothing against my neighbor, just in general. I happy to have Paul as a neighbor and friend

The creek is on the left

I got the title to the Lightning in the mail yesterday!!
We have not discussed what to get them but it won't be a cruise. They are already have a cruise planned anyway.

I got the washer put back in but then the dryer tube fell off so I gave up. The dryer tube just screws into an adapter on the dryer, not a good way to mount it. I got some metal dryer tape from Home Depot and going pull it out, screw the pipe onto the connector and then tape it. Going to finish that and then do the thermostat upgrade.

Don't need a laundromat now, best part it only cost me 10 bucks to fix it. Just aggravating moving it in and out of the hole. I gave it a test run to make sure there wasn't any leaks before I put it back together. One more thing off the list!!

at least it was a cheap fix. The W/D was one of those high end options that was marketed for full timers. The one that was in the bluebird was in the living rm, hidden in a cabinet. The monaco did not have one.

It's nice to use it for swimsuits/ towels after a day at the beach. Also limits dirty laundry when we get home.

The front AC started doing funny stuff yesterday. I could click the switch to AC and nothing, I could flip the switch back and forth between ac and fan and make it come on. I am pretty sure the thermostat is bad so I ordered one this morning. I also ordered a Jack powered TV antenna. I had one on the old Winnebago and it worked fantastic. The bat wing bounces around on the roof and drives me nutty after about 10 minutes on the highway. Next upgrade will be a new sat dish and that should be about it.
