Head studs

Installed head studs gaskets heads rocker arms turn motor over by hand before installing valve covers turns easy and right before it makes a complete round it stops

Did you make sure all the pushrods had a spring to them when set into the lifters?

Head work done?

Will it turn back? Is there a chance hardware fell in the intake? You could figure out what cylinder is coming up and inspect the cylinder through the glowplug hole with a borescope if you suspect something like a nut fell inside.
