Oil cooler torque spec
Hello,
Does anyone know the torque spec for the oil cooler stud/bolt on the V10?
I am replacing mine with a new Ford oil cooler as I have a small leak inside the cooler mixing oil and coolant I have seen a spec of 41-44 ft lbs but that seems a bit high? I know that the gasket surface should be dry when the new cooler is installed. Any other things to keep in mind when replacing the cooler?

Looks like there was a recall on the oil cooler many years ago. The torque spec is listed in the repair section....42 lb-ft.
