While researching my recent cap purchase I found a lack of pictures on the web of this cap on our trucks, So I thought I would share some pics. Although I think the cab height caps look the best ,I needed more height and the ARE Mx series is the nicest of the mid-height caps to me.
Just put on my ARE Z series topper/cap on Saturday. It's not the MX Series but has anyone noticed how close the topper/cap is to the bed of the truck? On the back end, on either side, there is hardly enough room to slip a piece of paper between the topper and truck bed. Do folks just accept the fact their bed paint will get scratched or is there something I can do to make the gap a little larger to prevent it shifting and rubbing?
when I bought my z series, they used the door sticker color code so it was an exact match.
The ARE dealer did take my door sticker code and vin. I'm just worried because my painter did the same thing when I had some paint match done and it turned out alot brighter. Now I'm in the process of having him fix it.
