Has anyone put a MX cap on an Atlas Blue yet? I have one ordered for a long box and have not been able to check out the color anywhere in person yet.
Sorry no, but all of the colors that I've seen are an exact match.
I have an MX ordered, but just yesterday changed it from the color match to the OTR, which looks like spray on bed liner. It will go onto Carbonized Gray CCSB Tremor with BAP. If ithe truck ever gets to the dealer.
How does the cap work? Specifically with the rear cameras. Front isn't affected. I am looking at at the MX with the door. They say that the tailgate one will be replaced with one at the top of the cap. Fair enough. Isn't there a camera that looks at the truck bed? How does that work? Does it affect the 360 degree view? TIA
Finally got topper in after 4 months. Pretty close color match. Need different seals and have ordered the ESI ones. The standard foam keeps it too low and scratched the paint in a couple spots. Had to "adjust" the fit. With a grinder.
I have had my MX on order since early Feb. The topper place called last week and they were told that there were issues with the mold on the MX that put them behind.
Mine is white and at the dealership. Should be installed next week thursday or friday. I don't have rails on the top but I do have the door so the tailgate will be removed and we shall see how it goes.

Supposed to deliver now mid June.
What type of foam did you end up using?
Did you do the install or where you bought it?
I did the install with foam and clamps they supplied. Foam was just 1/4" thick and maybe 1.5" wide? Probably okay if the fit was right, but all 4 corners are VERY tight to the body. The other stuff "should" lift the top up a bit and make it perfect. So I took some fiberglass off with flap disc on grinder and angled it to get it to clear. I'll switch it to the ESI seal next weekend and see how it is. Also ordered better clamps. The ones I got appear pretty flimsy. Got a used Leer locker drawer to install yet too. Cap-Rack is the manufacturer of those.

Post pics when you get it. I did the rails because it was cheaper to get them from A.R.E. than I could buy them. And they installed it.
You got the full back door? I really want to see that. I had thought about it.
Just put on my ARE Z series topper/cap on Saturday. It's not the MX Series but has anyone noticed how close the topper/cap is to the bed of the truck? On the back end, on either side, there is hardly enough room to slip a piece of paper between the topper and truck bed. Do folks just accept the fact their bed paint will get scratched or is there something I can do to make the gap a little larger to prevent it shifting and rubbing?
Noticed this on my Leer cap too. Thinking of a clear urethane to run along the bed rail.
I am looking at a used MX top but not sure it will fit my 2021 F250 XLT. Seller says it came off of a 2015 F350. He bought the truck used and cap was on at time he purchased truck. Great price but not sure it will fit my truck. No serial number can be found and info concerning truck compatibility is a grey area. Cap is great shape. Looks like these are a good top so any thoughts would be appreciated.
2017+ trucks are different. You could probably make it work, but if it were me I'd find one that didn't require modifications and/or compromises on fit.
