GM Avoiding Takata Recall
i guess i was not aware that a company can petition to be excluded from a recall.

The upside to this exception claimed due GM's "testing" of Takata air bags, that they're considered "safe" is IF one does prematurely explode the full liability for personal injury will fall 100% on GM. Those who hate that brand should be delighted in this.

All the manufacturers are trying to avoid pulling in all affected vehicles --- many are relying on the "high humidity area only" recall strategy .............
Reality is all Takata air bags are dangerous --- seen these "go off" ON THE BENCH unattended..........

it really makes we wonder how they are allowed to do that. i guess the same parts are only defective in part of the country.
