Steering wheel issue

So I had the ignition break that metal shaft piece broke last month and was right near a mechanic I don't know so had him work on it. Well he fixed it but now my steering wheel is upside down. How do I fix this? Rather not deal with this guy anymore. I knew I should've just did this myself with the $10 piece. Do I have to take the whole column off?

There's a nut behind the horn button that holds the wheel on. Once the nut's off, you'll need to pull the wheel off of the steering shaft. You can use a puller for this or take your chances and try to pull the wheel off by hand. If you want to pull the wheel by hand, thread the nut back onto the end of the shaft so it catches the wheel when it comes loose (saves you from catching the wheel with your face). Then turn the wheel as needed and reinstall.

most steering wheels are splined so they will only go on one way.
i am assuming this is on the 1990 you have listed in your profile.
so you will most likely have to unbolt the lower column from the steering box shaft, then pull the steering column up a little bit to turn the steering wheel 180 degrees and put it back onto the steering box shaft.

Sorry for the delay here thanks for the info. So unbolt that lower nut where it connects under the hood? And yes the wheel only goes on one way

if i remember correctly there is a "through bolt"on the coupler where the column slides onto the steering box upper shaft. undo thatbolt and pull it out. .then pry the coupler up off the box shaft. spin it 180 degrees and slip it back on .then put the bolt back in and tighten it up.
