I thought I saw it was a design feature somewhere. To keep you from oversteering. But yeah, after a two week cross country adventure, I started getting blisters on my hands.

Blisters?? Really? Are you driving an F350 or a coal truck!?? Lol. It surely can't be that bad can it? Is you power steering working?

Ok, not quite blisters, but really chafed. Probably not helping with the truck camper on the back through all the winding mountain roads out west. Not interstate driving too, but the back roads.
Rancho (RS64551) bracket and 7000 MT series stabilizers (RS7405). About the only fitment issue is the dust boots are very close to the tie rod. Check on the bracket number to see what all years it works with.
Thank you for this info. I'm looking to upgrade my steering stabilizer and probably also go to Rancho 9000 shocks all the way around this winter. For some reason, I haven't been able to finding a stabilizer that that specifically states it'll fit on a 2017+ F350 DRW.
Until you have to hold it against the crown of the road for hundreds of miles...
Hey dude, if you have to hold your truck to keep it on the road you should get your alignment checked. The caster from the left to right side should be a little different to account for road crown specifically for that reason.
My truck steers pretty effortlessly, sounds to me like a lot of people here have bad caster angles to be honest.
This^^^^^^^^^^^^
I would hate it if I could steer with one finger, gotta have some steering feel to it. I think yeah its stiffer than norm, but it's a truck. And I love it!

There's no standard for roads here on the east coast. Crowns can be extreme, and they can be opposite (left leaning instead of right leaning), and there can be no such thing when talking about old county roads the flow with the landscape. Nothing is flat out here!

Ooof, that sucks. Luckily (I guess?) we don't have to really worry about rain and runoff, its pretty flat roads everywhere you go here and I can not touch my steering wheel for long stretches.

So true... especially with Maryland SHA and their fascination with negative camber turning radii.

Oh god I thought we were the only ones! Nothing worse than a sharp curve, or long curve with the road leaning to the outside. And every traffic circle has a steep lean to the outside as well.
Stupid, stupid designs!
When I first took possession of my truck, I thought the steering was stiff, especially compared to my Expedition I just traded, which had the electric motor power steering, which I never really liked with how little feedback I got from the road. I also had that unit fail, thank goodness it was under warranty.
I no longer feel it is stiff, as I have gotten used to it now. I am really happy with how my Super Duty steers and wouldn’t want it any other way. ;-)
