My first F350 and I noticed the steering is noticeably stiffer then smaller truck such as my F150. No difficulties, but curious if that’s the norm.
Loving the truck and starting on adding step bars and bed rug this week.
My SD is the stiffest steering truck I've ever owned. IMO, there's no reason for this crap. My hands/fingers start to cramp up holding the thing on long trips...yet my '70's-'90's trucks I can steer with one finger almost effortlessly. Why the manufacturers think they have to do this is beyond me...

Yes, it's normal. Mine was the same way. It eventually loosens up.
Glad to see this thread and know I'm not the only one who's wondered about this! I just got my first F250. Love my new truck but it does have a noticeably stiffer steering than my previous F150's. On the up side, I leveled the truck and added a Rancho dual steering stabilizer. Even with that the stiff steering did not get any worse.
Which one did you go with? Did you have any fitment issues and do you know if what you went with will fit all 2017+ Super Duties?
Rancho (RS64551) bracket and 7000 MT series stabilizers (RS7405). About the only fitment issue is the dust boots are very close to the tie rod. Check on the bracket number to see what all years it works with.
