2012 f550 6.7 pulse ring

Just have a quick question sorry if I posted to the wrong spot. Can you see the pulse ring if you pull the CKP sensor, I did that and all I can see is the crankshaft nothing else. I just installed a new long block in it and didn't have this issue before. The vehicle runs good but takes around 10 seconds of cranking to start. Has code p0335.

Found the issue

I pulled the tranny and found the pulse ring missing. Ford tech told me it wouldn't run without the pulse ring but turns out he was wrong.

It will run but cannot determine correct timing during operation. I'm not that familiar with a 6.7. Should the pulse ring have been included with new rebuilt engine? Did you remove it and send it in with your core?

I think you have to swap it.

From what I read on the internet is that you have to swap it, so it was my fault that I missed it when I swapped the flywheel. This was the very first time I ever touched a 6.7 I learned a lot about it.
