Just bought this motorhome and am working on some inherited problems. The cruise control is not working I have found some info on line but none for my 1992 unit made on the 10 th month of1991. All of the info. I have found locates the Brake pressure switch on the master cylinder on my e350 there is no switch on the master cylinder so my question is where is it located and how do I go about replacing it. Ford dealers don't seem to have a clue and don't seem to have any listing for replacement parts so some direction in how to resolve this would be very helpful. thanks in advance.

 

That year shouldn't have the Master Cylinder secondary switch. If it did you'd not be able to miss it hanging under the MC, almost touching the Battery Junction Box located just under the MC. Naturally the fuse would be the first suspect, next would be the third or high-mounted stop light---if those bulbs are burned out the VSC won't work.

I'd suggest finding a schematic for your year E350 and start trouble shooting the entire Vehicle Speed Control Circuit. That begins with the steering wheel switches, the clock spring and all the interconnecting wires through the steering column and eventually running to the VSC servo.

It would be "easier" to simply connect a DMM to the 10 pin flat connector at the VSC servo and start testing for resistance values at the appropriate pins.

Sadly I can't help you with a schematic as all my published EVTM's are from '97 to 2014.
