I pulled the motor because the I thought I had a few lifters tapping and I wanted to replace the seals around the engine because of leaks.
My cam is shot and I was looking to upgrade, everything is stock on the engine I’m looking for a cam that will work with my stock heads and lower end.
I will be replacing the camshaft, lifters, rocker arms, pushrods, valve springs, and valves.
thanks

his stock cam probably came out of his for Lunati to go in, when you say upgrade, how many miles on it? what is budget $$$, verses your goal, lots a ways to skin a cat
Wouldn't do anything yet since your bearings in the lower end has high probability of metal embedded in them.
Just an observation, mind you, but that tool steel ground up metal from the roller washed down the insides of your engine long before it got to the filter.
I've got a book on camshafts by Don Hubbard and a similar drawing showing where pits are allowed and where they aren't is the same. The loading on the base circle is really low so it just doesn't matter if the pits are smaller than a certain size. For cams used in non production applications where they will be seen most of the time they don't allow any pits simply because looks matter.
