I downloaded the sync update via the usb route and now when I stop and re-start the truck the radio reverts to the am mode. Also from time to time i get a message that says i can update sync via a wifi network and we all know that does not work either.
Does anyone know if i can revert back to the original version??

I would also like to revert. I have been dealing with this issue since December 2018. Dealer tells me they check with ford engineering every 2 weeks. No solution in sight.
This has been a known issue for a long time now. Ford appears to be in no hurry or is simply ignoring the problem.
The only solution I've found is to turn off the radio before shutting the truck down. There have been posts about how to return to the previous version, but there are better things to do with my day than spend 3 hours on this.

Will have to try that. Only way I had known for it to remember Sirius was if I remote started it. Always remains on sirius that way.

There is a thread on here already with this issue, might be good to throw a post in there as well.
Call Ford and COMPLAIN! It most likely wont do any good... but at least more people call maybe we'll get a resolution.
I too have had this issue since last September ( SYNC 3.0 update), no answers, Ford SYNC folks act like they've never heard of the issue, which is a lie since I've personally called and complained at least 6 times. Finally received a case number the last time I called.
