How does the **** end attach to the choke cable? The end by the threads slides over the tube that has the cable inside. Should this be crimped on? Soldered? When I pull the choke, it slides apart from the tube and the threads.
Tried to crimp the brass fitting onto the tube. That didn’t work. Removed cable from truck, applied flux, and soldered then together. Removed wire from housing cleaned it and applied WD40 on the wire, placed wire back in the housing and reinstalled onto the truck. Seems to be working great now.
