Suspension/Drag link help

Hi all, I know there are a ton of threads on this but not sure there are any that specifically address what I am looking for. I have a 17 6.7. It has a 6" Pro Comp lift that came with it that eventually I would love to get rid of. With a wedding coming up and honeymoon plus boating season, it is unlikely I will get rid of it any time soon. Therefore, I am looking to polish a turd so to speak and keep the existing lift and try to upgrade the components.

With that being said, the ride is *****. I need to replace the draglink as it sounds and appears to be internally broken. Also, is the pitman arm hanging too low or should it show that much spline on top? I know there are a ton of Draglink options so how do I choose between them (Carli, PMF, stock replacement, etc)?

I drive an even street/highway mix. I tow my boat but only a few miles. Very rarely do I tow it more than 10 miles. I do not do any offroading so I guess all in all this is considered a pavement princess. It currently has 20" rims on 38" toyo MT. I would like to achieve a softer ride overall.

Would you recommend new shocks and new coils? Keep the coils and just shocks? If so, which shocks without being overkill?

Thank you in advance!

Will this help?
Here are a couple of pics of my completely stock/unmodified 17 F250...if that's what you wanted to see. It appears that a chisel, in lieu of a wrench, was used to finish the tightening process on the nut on the splined shaft. The position on your splined shaft looks app the same as mine does. The boot on your drag link appears to be fubarred.

Yes, I noticed that as well so I purchased a new nut from Ford. Glad to see the splines show the same amount on both as I wasnt sure if that was correct or not so thank you. Not only is the boot jacked, but it also clanks and bangs around in there. It is loud and I can feel it in the steering wheel. Something in there is for sure broken. I need to order something ASAP.

Still hoping this thread will gain more traction. I went ahead and ordered the PMF Draglink. I also ordered their dual steering stabilizer kit as 1) it was recommended 2) I was reading the fox stabilizer thread and some people still were not sold on updating just the single and 3) I just like the way it will look. Did not order the stabilizers yet as I am still hoping someone will chime in on a coil/shock recommendation.

I spoke with CJC offroad. They had recommended moving down to a 4.5" coil but my concern is fittament of the 38" tires and rubbage. I definitely do not like the look of the bumper after adding the spacer and not sure I want to do any major trimming. I have reached out to Carli, Icon and a few other companies/shops for input but no real responses.
