2013 F-150 FX4 with Raptor Shocks

I been looking to see if it’s possible to put raptor shocks on a F-150 I found a bunch of forums about people doing it with some mods.. I got a good deal on some 2019 raptor front coil overs, I bought a rough country lift kit 6inch. The shocks mounted right up, not rubbing anywhere. The shocks were perfect fit for a 6 inch lift without any modifications.

Nice discovery. So the ride height looks right? And you didn't have to use those big spacers, right? Post some pics of your truck with the wheels on so we can see the stance.

By the way, welcome. Great first post! (with pics too)

Correct.. didn’t need the big spacers.. here is a pic after I got the front done.. still have one 33x12.50 17s. Working on the rear today so once that is done I’ll post more pictures..

Done

Ok just got it done.. found when reversing the tie rod ends rubbed on my wheels.. wasn’t by much I just rounded the edge in the tie rod and it worked fine. Here are the final pics..

When turned all the way the CV almost touches the shock. I cranked it both ways in 4wd and it never touched the shock body..

Looks a lot better than have a big shock tower on there to make up for the lift..

Looks like you might have got another inch of lift with those shocks. Time to budget for some 35s now!

Guys on the Raptor forums report problems with using the gen 2 shocks on a gen1 without modifications... I haven't delved too far into the forums, but you may want to check out the comments.

Only thing I got off them was the spring was too big, they swapped out the spring off their gen1 shocks and they worked fine after that. But with the lift kit it seems to fit almost perfect.. I know I don’t get the same travel as raptors with just a lift kit but they work for what I’ll use it for..

I believe you can use the Raptor shocks on the rear as well. Not sure how much of a block you need though.

Look ,for some Raptor wheel tire take offs. I got a set with 500 miles on them for $950. Supposed to pick them up next week. Hopefully they wont rub too bad on my 2013 F150 4x4 KR. If they do, I have a set of Fox 2.0 ready to purchase.
