I bought this truck about 5 years ago with only 70,000 miles, it runs great, however while cleaning the dome light the lense cover fell off, after trying a dozen times to put it back on, it appears someone must have had it off before and broke all the thin plastic shafts that hold it in place cant seem to find a new one online? any ideas besides gorrilla glue? lol!

Reason: spelling
so, I bought a new one from ford, I hope I don't break off the little plastic stubs, like someone else did, I wonder if theres a secret to separating the lens cover?
thanks paw paw, I find it odd that the person who had my truck before me, would even take the thing apart and break off the little black plastic stubs? to replace the bulbs you only need to take off the lense cover? grr, dummy cost me 88 dollars, but now I have extra bulbs, as If I would ever need them! lol!
Good to hear you finally got it fixed. I've found my dome light to be plenty handy over the years. Some year/model Owner Manuals aren't descriptive on how to remove the lens covers, suggesting we take the vehicle to a Dealer, Garage, or see a Tech, just to remove a dang dome lens cover & replace a burned out lamp.
