Interior light assembly
my map lights and dome light has shorted out I believe and doesn’t come on when I open the door every time. I’m looking for a new map light assembly and dome light assembly for a black 2016 Ford F-350 platinum. Could anyone please help me, I really don’t want to go thru the Ford parts house cause they want an arm and a leg for it

It is highly unlikely, unless you saw the smoke or other damage, that the light "shorted out".
It would probably be a good idea to have someone who knows what they are doing diagnose the problem.
