Hello all, in another post I was pointed in the direction of replacing my bad cat with an after market “high flow” cat. These seem to be cheapest and the best bang for the buck. Here’s my question, only one of my cats are bad (bank 2). Can I replace just this cat with a high flow and leave the rest of them stock? Or will doing so throw off fuel trims and timing with the differences in exhaust flow through the different catalytic converters? Thanks in advance for any help on this.
That being said, if one is gone then the others probably won't be far behind. I know it's a costly venture to replace all four (as well as all four O2 sensors) at the same time, but you'll save in labor in the long run.
