352 carburetor

I have a 1971 f100 with a 352 5.8L and I need a carburetor but I can’t find it, it’s a motorcraft 1.23 Venturi 2100 cfm.

Have you tried eBay, I see a few of them available right now. A Shop Manual for your truck would list the exact size Venturi carburetor, jetting, and power valve that shipped with that engine. Depending on the engine current configuration, camshaft, and intended use, a larger carburetor than stock may not be what you want. Over-carburetion is one of the most common errors anyone can make.

There's a guy on E-bay called Gotta Fish that has a lot of professionally rebuilt carbs for all old Fords. I've purchased one from him and his stuff is first class.

No 352's installed after 1967, no such thing as Motorcraft until 1972.

1965/67 F100/350 352 2V: Auto-Lite 2100 2V // 1968/71 F100/350 360/390: Auto-Lite 2100 series 2V // 1969/71 F100 302: Auto-Lite 2100 series 2V

1972/74 F100: 302 Motorcraft 2100 series 2V // 1972/74 F100/350 360/390: Motorcraft 2100 series 2V

2100 series 2V carb kit is the same 1964/74: D4AZ-9A586-A (Motorcraft CT-499-D) / Available from Ford & auto parts stores.

Is there some damage to the carb that precludes a rebuild? They are easy and cheap to rebuild.

That probably wasn't the original size carb, but it should work ok on a 352 or whatever you have. I put one on a 289 and it worked great, although I did change the jets a couple times.
