Does anyone have a part number and a source for the rubber clutch boot that goes in the bellhousing. Mine is dried out and crumbling. It is on a 300/NP435 combo.
Also part number for the gasket that goes between the block and the 90 filter adapter. It is #6840 in the attached schematic.
Looks like it got cut off in the pic.
I don't have the factory part number, but it can probably be gotten off of the Scott Drake or Dennis Carpenter or LMC websites. Assuming they can be navigated for such a thing.
NumberDummy will come to the rescue I'm sure, but in the meantime here's the one we sell for the early Broncos: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/produc..._Bronco_Clutch
Very likely it's the same across the whole truck line for certain years. What year is yours?
I know that the early '66 Broncos had a different shaped fork, and while this boot fits the bell housing, it does not fit the arm properly. This is for the arms that are stamped into a C-shape like this: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/produc..._Bronco_Clutch
That's the newer integrated-clip style, but the early version with the separate spring clippy thingy was the same basic shape so the boot fits all years of Bronco at least through '77.
Good luck. And hopefully the newer stuff (including ours) will last as long as the originals did. New rubber products don't seem to have the longevity. But so far, so good with ours. No complaints, but they haven't been out on the road for thirty years yet either!
Oh, they do tear easily though. Not sure if the originals did or not, but if you get a new one, be gentle when you're sliding the fork through it.

I ending up finding the boot online after I posted, but still thank you!
I posted the schematic as a part of my second question, not in reference to the boot. I need from it that #6840 gasket. It goes between the block and the 90d filter adapter.....that one I still am not having any luck finding?

This is the wrong schematic for the filter, it's for an Econoline & P series Parcel Delivery. Your spin on filter does not use an adapter, it threads onto a stud that threads into the block.See pic below.

I understand it may not be model/year correct but I have one and I would like to continue to use it as it makes oil changes much less messy with the filter being vertical. I just need the new #6840 gasket/seal to the block, or just rtv and no gasket anymore?
