I loved this truck and it definitely made me a super duty fan. Took it from bone stock to this in almost exactly one year. Ran and performed great but I ran into a great deal on a bulletproofed 6.0 with 30k on the long block and tranny. Rust free Texas truck too, which is ironic because my V10 is headed to Texas with its new owner this weekend. I should have asked more money for it that's for sure! I didn't think it would sell so quickly being a V10 but it took less than 24 hours.
The new one is boring white unfortunately but still Eddie Bauer and in really nice shape. It will be getting a similar build as well!
Nice truck on it's way to a new home, hope the 6.o_oH! is as nice!
Which bumper is that?
I'm going to miss it for sure. Never gave me a bit of trouble. I just really missed towing with a diesel. The 6.0 is a really clean truck and will be just as cool when I'm done with it.
Someone in TX is getting a pretty sweet 6.8 EX! Did you tell them about this forum?
Looking forward to watching the new 6.0 build!
Thanks to you I didn't burn it to the ground last year after my first long tow with it! It definitely pulled well after the gears. But then I got the F250 to use as a work truck and immediately remembered how nice a diesel pulls. Then the 6.0 EX popped up and I couldn't get it out of my head!
Excited about this new one for sure, only thing I'm dreading is the rear springs, that right rear one just sucks due to the Ac lines.
